Here is an example of a task that was carried out that has been an influence for us a group. A group of strangers were asked to meet their partner in a room and undress one another, as they did not know each other this resulted in different reactions from the strangers. This was directed by film maker Tatia Palieva and was inspired by research into human sexuality. They ask how would you feel if this was you ? and what would you have done in this situation? As a group we were interested as this task is similar to what we have been carrying out, it questions your personal boundaries and how people react when our clothing is taking away from us, clothes extremely personal to humans as they cover what we do not see in public, how does it make you feel to have a personal attachment, something that makes you feel safe and comfortable taken from you? The idea of clothing is something that we have been exploring and is a main element of our research. Although clothing is an everyday thing that we do not think much of, how much can this test our boundaries?
